Things to do outside the Bubble

So much to do in the Villages but if you need more, Florida has it. Below are a few fun things to do within about an hour drive.

Swim with Manatees!  The beautiful park offers too much to do to list here.  From interacting with marine life to boating, fishing, camping and even containing a few museums, there is plenty to do for all ages.

Mount Dora, an active city about 30 minutes south-east of the Villages is known for its year round fairs and events.  Hosting on of the largest Art & Craft shows, Mt. Dora always has something to do or see.

Visit one of North America’s most prehistoric places, Devil’s Den Spring!  Snorkel and camp at Devil’s Den Spring.  They offer equipment rentals and have  plenty of things to do.   Located in Williston FL.  Approximately an hour north-west of the Villages.
